We spent yesterday afternoon working on the Mission Greenbelt Project in San Francisco in front of the Sangati Center (on the corner of 22nd and Shotwell ). Joined by Deepa, Drew and  Amber Hasselbring, we built fences around 3 of the gardens with bamboo donated by Blake Garden. A perfect day weather-wise. In 2 weeks we will reconvene to finish fencing in the other gardens.

Yesterday, as we were watching the sun set with a glass of wine in hand two crows flew in to harvest some of the birch branches for nest building. They hacked away at the upper most branches of the birch and flew off with their booty.
